This book does a good job of laying down a fundamental understanding of Instagram, how using it can affect your business, and the demographics of the Instagram user base. Basically, if you're looking to target an audience that has money that is mostly women, then Instagram is a great way to connect to that audience. This book does a good job of discussing the "rules of engagement," so you don't make a misstep and make your efforts backfire.The only gripe is that it took too long teaching me how to use Instagram in general, instead of simply how to use it for my business, but I suppose I'm a techy guy already, so maybe that's useful to you?
I am a photo geek and got into Instagram because two of my relatives urged me to do it. I haven't taken the time to upload a ton of stuff yet, but I do think about how to best use the service to drive some traffic over to my author site. Having said that - I do agree with the author when he said that Instagram is great for building relationships and great content - and the engagement will follow. I also like the idea of grouping photos and telling a story through pix in categories. A really good introduction to Instagram even if you're already there (like me) but don't really know the best way to use it.
This is a well written book. It appears to have been edited and reviewed well.It is a very brief book and hits the highlights.The author provides some demographic information to help you understand the Instagram user base.The author includes much of the Instagram terms of service.In my opinion, the author accomplished what they set out to do; write a very succinct book that discusses the topic.I recommend this book.
A quick and easy read, this book gives even a beginner a good feel for the do's and don'ts of Instagram etiquette and shows you how to use it to the best advantage of your business. Probably my favorite quote from the book is in Chapter 8: "Used correctly, a photo shared on Instagram can be more powerful and directly porfitable than a highway billboard."
As an internet marketer, I am always looking for new ways to attract prospects, and although I had heard of instagram, I didn't really "get" what it is, and how I could use it. After reading this book, I have another tool in my marketing toolbox that I didn't have before.
This is a great book on this subject. I was Instagram ignorant until now. I feel like I have a much better grasp on it now. Thank you. Looking forward to more books on Social Media.
This is great for a Instagram newbie. It break down Instagram from beginning to use without being boring. I would read more from this author.
This is well written and just what I needed to understand a little more. Not sure I will use it for my business but a great reference guide nevertheless!
