My favorite travel books
I like the DK Eyewitness Travel Guides because they are full of pictures to show you the sites of a country. Slovenia is a small and beautiful country that gets overlooked by many travel guide companies. It was nice to have a full range of full color pictures of this gorgeous country. It's a small book and I think it is good for planning a trip and also to keep as a pictorial souvenir of your holiday.The DK EYEWITNESS GUIDES have good information on places to visit but they are not as helpful on places to stay and eat as are other guides.I have visited Slovenia many times so I was thrilled that DK has a travel guide on this fine country.
