Every lawyer, police officer, Prosecutor, Judge and average person should read this book. If the only education on sex crimes you understand is from the television programming crime shows and nightly news then read this book. The news has exaggerated the danger, the number of stranger danger crimes which most parents are worried about. Children suffer by not being allowed some freedoms because of the extraordinary rare crimes of a child being kidnapped, raped and murdered. The most dangerous situations for a child is an automobile accident, fire and drowning.Those citizens that have to register as "SEX OFFENDERS" in the present tense make an ignorant public think they must be dangerous. It has nothing to do with the level of danger or risk to the community and is a harsh extra punishment after they have all ready paid for their crime. 95-97% of the cases never have a trial, but a coerced plea agreement. A person accused is as good as guilty in the eyes of the public without any evidence.Branding someone for life with a horrible label that keeps people afraid of them, takes away any opportunities to get a decent job or housing is criminal. This book educates a person. We may have the mental capacity to learn to be reasonable, but that takes education because human beings tend to use the lowest form of thinking when they are afraid.The Sex Offender Registry is a draconian punishment that should never have been allowed in a free society. It is not about facts, but fear and control of the public which makes it political only.
People are being castigated, not to say Castrated, by a coterie of women whose motives range from the noble to the crassly materialistic
