Very good. I am working on using the book on ipad while work at terminal. That seems to be a good way for me. I am not a complete novice to command line and terminal commands but all in Microsoft environment until now. I find this book an excellent resource.
Well written and easy to use on my Kindle.
I am new to the Mac world, mostly a Windows user. This book helped me get started with a strong footing. Liked Joe's subtle humour and real life analogy which made the reading enjoyable and easy to follow. Finished the book in two days while practicing the commands on my Mac. Now I can dive into more serious business with my Mac. Highly recommended - specially if you are a newbie to the Unix & Mac world, and don't know where to start from.
