I was hoping this book would make a nice gift for my son who is a glassblower. He makes beautiful pieces and sells them, so I was hoping this book would improve his business skills related to selling artwork. However, this book is specifically for painters. There isn't much of anything for other types of artists. Probably an excellent book for painters, though.
Not an artist, but an emerging artist representative. Great guidelines in a simple format. Easy to read and understand, like the margins provided for personal notes. Would recommend to anyone interested in a well written and informative book covering the field of fine art in preparation of your career as an artist. My background has included 25yrs. in the record label business and the similarities of the visual arts business are numerous. Thanks Constance Smith for your knowledge and expertise.

Many/most artists don't want to have to do the marketing or the bookkeeping, and this takes much of the right-brain pain out of those tasks.Highly recommended.

It is similar to Selling Art 101 and I found the information to be very helpful and inspiring.Art Marketing 101 help me develop various techniques and methods for selling my work. I highly recommend everyone to but the entire of the art marketing books.
The book came in a timely manner and excellent condition so I was able to prepare for my class that I am teaching this semester. This book is a real good handbook to help a person start their art business.
